What is VRF/VRV and why should it be preferred?
The VRF/VRV climate control system is an advanced air conditioning technology where multiple indoor units can be controlled independently by connecting them to a single outdoor unit.
It is especially used for hotels, offices, large residences and commercial buildings, as well as preferred in residences.

Mitsubishi Heavy (VMH2410)
It is compatible with Mitsubishi Heavy brand VRF indoor units. It both receives energy and communicates over the connection line. It does not need an external power source.
Arçelik VRF Gateway (VAR2410)
It is compatible with Arçelik and Beko VRF systems. CN_REMO port and the necessary supply is provided through this port. No extra power connection is required.
LG VRF Gateway (VLG2410)
It is compatible with LG's Multi, Multi-F, Multi-F Max, and VRF indoor units. The device is connected via the CN_REMO port and receives its power supply from this connection. No external power supply required.
Daikin VRF Gateway (VDS/VDA 2420)
Compatible with Daikin VRV/VRF indoor units (cassette type, wall mount, etc.). It establishes a connection over the P1-P2 communication line. The device is powered by 220V AC; therefore, an external energy connection is required.

What exactly is a VRF Gateway?
VRF Gateway is an interface module that translates the complex communication protocol of a VRF air conditioning system (e.g. LG, Daikin) into a language that the inohom smart home system (RF 433 MHz) can understand.
What is the energy consumption of the gateway?
The maximum power consumption is 1W, making it highly efficient. Mitsubishi and Daikin models do not need an additional supply as they get their energy directly from the air conditioning line.
Can I use it without Nova Panel or Home Manager?
The VRF Gateway requires an inohom master controller (Nova Panel or Home Manager) to receive and send commands.
Is there remote control with the mobile app?
Yes. Once the Gateway is connected to the inohom Home Manager (or internet-connected Nova Panel), you can control your VRF system from anywhere in the world via the inohom mobile app.
Who should do the installation?
Installation should be performed by qualified service technicians trained in VRF systems and inohom automation.
